This ale was brewed using British malts. It is reddish in appearance, has a nice full body and caramelised biscuity character.It gets its colour from two types of caramel malt and a tiny portion of roasted barley used in a brewing process.While Red ale is darker and rich, it also contains components of a much lighter beer with a dry, crisp and hoppy finish. Due to its robust nature, this beer pairs wonderfully with food.What makes it even more fascinating is nitrogen. Normally beer is carbonated with CO2. It makes beer gassy and creates bubbles that we love so much. This beer however is carbonated with a mix of nitrogen and carbon dioxide (70% and 30% respectively). It makes it silk smooth to drink and creates a mesmerising cascading effect. The waterfall of tiny bubbles slowly yields to a dark red brew with a fluffy, white head thick enough to float a bottle cap.
