Omnipollo collab - Zero Adjunct Pastry StoutWe wanted to brew a luscious, thick stout based equally on their Wonka-esque pastry concoctions and our Plain Dark Beer. The result was pretty much an entire week of brewing to produce Complicated Dark Beer, a "zero-adjunct pastry stout" (we didn't even use brewers sugars!) with grown up, all malt confectionery flavours of chocolate, coffee, some licorice and rich dark fruits. Think black forest gateaux in sauce form.
