For our first collaboration at this brewery, we partnered with our friendsand close neighbors (1.9 miles by road, a little under a mile away as thecrow flies) at Heavy Seas. This beer is inspired by Belgian Golden Strongales, but to give it that Guinness twist, we added some dark malt androasted barley. The result is a dark brown beer, brimming with fruity esterslike banana, cooked strawberry, and pear, but with some roast, nutty, andchocolate malt aromas to give depth and richness.
