This beer is a once-in-a-lifetime thing.What started out as a midnight thought turned into a 4 months project.We looked for something different; a bit more special so we got a crop of the famous "La Chouffe" yeast and a wooden Gin Cask delivered from Le Bouscat in France to age our Imperial Wit in. Only 10 of its sort existing we snatched the 9th! Lucky days. After 2 months of aging in the cask and forming its unique Juniper (Gin) character we packaged it into a handful of kegs.The result is a beautiful light golden colour, crowned by a fine-pored foam.Notes of banana, honey and elderflower on the nose; tasting notes of orange and grapefruit with a smooth finish of peach. Definitively not recommended as a "quick beer after work"!
