Purple Pinto! Earthbound Astronaut Version

Back in October of 2018 this was the very first brew into our Oregon Barrel Works fermenter made out of Oregon oak. Upon transferring to barrels, we added juice from Oregon Pinot Noir grapes for a secondary barrel fermentation. We took the skins from this pressing and fermented more beer on them in a giant clay pot made by Andrew Beckham, then blended the two Pinot-heavy beers together prior to bottling. It’s like the Pinto of my dreams!
