After another big boil, this viscous base beer was aged in Stagg Jr. barrels for 24 months. We then added raw and toasted coconut, black and white cookies, Bolivian cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla. Barrel Aged Triple Singularity pours pitch black with a quickly dissipating foam cap and coexisting aromas of rich chocolate, bake-shop macaroons, toasted marshmallow, and oak. Decadent flavors of undercooked rich doughy brownies, high-quality hot cocoa powder, coconut creme brûlée with a perfectly torched sugar crust, coconut custard pie, and liquid caramel all come together in a weighted finish that coats the palate just before a boozy pop of bourbon enters the chat.
