The base beer was brewed with a substantial quantity of unpasteurized organic apple must from Mont St-Hilaire and aged 12 months in a Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Barrel and then blended with a younger Barleywine. The result is a semi-still beer with a warming alcoholic nose with flavours of caramel, apple pie, vanilla, oak, a slight fresh apple acidity and, of course, the iconic flavors and mouthfeel of Jack Daniel’s.
