Silky Way Pomegranate Stout (丝路石榴世涛)

Brewed in Collaboration with our friends at Vetra Brewing from Milan, Italy this strong style stout was inspired by flavors of old from our respective cities – sambuca and pomegranate. Sambuca is a liquer made from star anise and often served with a coffee bean on top for OGs. As we walked the Beijing streets on brewday, Stefano and Gabriele were amazed at the roadside pomegranate juice and drew inspiration for this beer. Rich, dark and brooding, this beer has notes of deep mocha, sweet pomegranate and a distinct liquorice nature. A true representation of what our Northern cities both have to offer.
