Like all brewers, we love hops, and Karl, our resident Kiwi, has a thing for the NZ variety.In March 2024, he popped over the ditch and headed south – waaay south – to Garston Hops.While there, he tramped among the hop fields in his trusty jandals and hand-selected the hops for this beer.Back in Melbourne, armed with this season’s Motueka, Rakau, and NZ Cascade, he set about brewing this love letter to his homeland.Wop Wops Pale Ale is full of the lip-smacking stone fruit flavours you expect from NZ hops and has a balanced bitterness that leads to a nicely dank finish.
