After aging for 35 months in Blanton’s barrels, we gave this vicious imperial stout the Alfajores adjunct schedule of honey, hazelnuts, almonds, coconut, and Madagascar vanilla.Clugging out of the bottle in pitch black form, we get harmonious flavors of velvety fudge, coconut macaroons, nougat honey Twix bars, and a bunch of earthy crushed nuts. Velvety flavors of molasses and honey cream throughout each sip lead to a weighted mouthfeel, and a touch of barrel heat will have you thinking you’re drinking a mudslide instead of our latest BA stout.
