If I Only Had a Brain is an Unfiltered Wild Ale that began its journey as a rustic Saison, brewed in the summer of 2019. We then aged this delicate ale for over two years in a Chardonnay barrel from Husch Vineyards, located in the rural Anderson Valley of Northern California. We proceeded to bottle condition the final product until it achieved a balanced carbonation. The result is a complex, acidic ale that evokes the notion of finding yourself. Think barnyard funk, pineapple preserves, and musky brie.
