Pineapple Chicha

"Chicha" is the name used for fermented drinks made from cooked maize and found in regions across South America. Our version celebrates that tradition, by cereal cooking raw purple corn in our mash tun before adding pilsner malt and fermenting with our legacy Harp Lager yeast. After fermentation was complete, we added pineapple puree for a touch of tropical sweetness to round out this light, crisp lager.
