Stauning Rye Whisky barrel aged Baltic Porter with Canadian maple syrup, Givrée vanilla from Uganda and Brazillian Chapadão De Ferro coffee from La Cabra.A collab between Øllebrødre and La Cabra, exclusively made for Tøffer'ns (TidensFarver ølafdeling) 6th birthday celebration.The idea behind AVERELL 1333 BIRTHDAY EDITION, was to use the absolut best quality of adjuncts as possible in a Baltic Porter that have been barrel aged for 18 months in a Stauning Rye Whisky barrel for Tøffer'ns 6th birthday celebration. We teamed up with one of the best roasteries in Denmark - and perhaps one of the best in the world - La Cabra, locally based in Aarhus, and used there Chapadão De Ferro coffee from Brazil. Chapadão De Ferro is a coffee which have deep and rich chocolate notes which match the baltic porter, but the coffee also have a jammy and red fruity notes which pairs perfectly with a quite expensive and rare Givrée vanilla beans from Clemens Fehr in Uganda. The Givrée vanilla has been allowed to start maturing on the plant and forms crystals on the outside of the vanilla which lead to a high vanillin content and a aromatic intensity. It's all rounded off with class A Canadian maple syrup - because what would a birthday at Tøffer'n be without maple syrup.Expect a smooth and full body mouthfell experience with notes of chocolate, spices, whisky, roast and deep fresh vanilla.All adjuncts are organic.Aged time: 18 months in barrel.1 keg in total.
