Altbier with a top yeast but then lagering as a bottom-fermenting beer, combines the best of both worlds. Fruity undertones due to the yeast and the typical clean finish familiar from bottom-fermenting beers.Very smooth mouthfeel, slightly present caramel notes, malty finish punctuated by a slight hop bitterness that gives the whole thing that typical German drinkability. - Altbier met een bovengist maar nadien een lagering als een ondergistend bier, combineert het beste van twee werelden.
