Brewed in Summer 2019 with NYS 2-Row, red wheat, and rye, this two-barrel selection spent 16 months in French Oak with our house culture before being racked onto freshly-pressed Saperavi grape pomace from our friend @nkendallwine. Saperavi grapes have both red skin and red flesh (known as a teinturier grape if you want to get geeky) which produces some of the darkest wines in the world and gives this beer its deep, burgundy color.
