Barrel aged blended sour brown/red. Predominately using 1 year old base. Aged in seasoned French barriques - 228LThe colour of garnet expresses its red/brown base origin.The aroma offers cherry and spicy, nutty almond, finishing with acetic, vinous notes.The mouthfeel is medium, the sweet and sour flavour a combination of dark fruit, sherry and clean fruity tartness. This gives the impression of an appetising balance of must, wood and sour fruit.This beer is one of the first blends from Hop Nations Sour Program to leave the brewery. It is the beginning of our program and we are super excited to get it out to the public.
