Hu'a Maka are the Hawaiian words for "Fresh Fruit", and this mead has quite a bit.We started with 100% Hawaiian Macadamia blossom honey from the Big Island, and fermented that into a lovely traditional mead. After fermentation, we aged this batch on 6 pounds per gallon of fruit to include: tart balaton cherries, freestone peaches, pineapple, and mango chunks. This combination of fruits gives a tropical punch-like quality to this mead. It's got a dose of acidity from the fruit and a pleasant sweetness to balance things out. Just in time for summer, enjoy this mead chilled or on the rocks! 13% ABV
