It’s even darker than our Dark Lager and its flavor is dominated by roasted malt aromas which are in balance with the beer’s residual sugars. Even though its color may imply the opposite, the beer is surprisingly refreshing! But wait, what’s that? Yes, it’s a hint of spice - we added some dried Chili to the boil. The delicate spice needs some time to unfold, but then complements the complex black malt aroma and the sweetness beautifully without being overpowering.
