We aged this tart pale in a bourbon barrel that previously held a porter (Barrel Cured). The dark beer saturating the wood adds a cocoa-husk aroma that we augmented with a firm dose of Ecuadorian cacao nibs. The chocolate and dark fruit notes make for a unique sour beer, even by our standards!
