Brewed for the Headmaster of the Old School, our very own Stefano Rizzardi, this sessionable hoppy IPA is a throwback to the incredibly drinkable ales from trailblazers of the American west coast. Using a pair of flavoursome base malts, Golden Promise and Vienna, which were paired with some cystal malts to create that slightly caramelized malt character that compliments classic C hops so beautifully to create that sticky pine resin and citrus vibe. With a trio of C's: Centennial, Cascade and Chinook ably supported by Amarillo this ale brings loads of grapefruit and orange zest, pine needles and light floral notes. There's enough bitterness to balance what is a more chewy malt profile than we normally go with but this is one for drinking, sitting in the pub with friends as the nights grow longer and colder.
