In July 2003 we bottled our very first batch of Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer. One year on we are proud to mark our first anniversary with this stunning limited edition Oak Aged Blonde Beer.We brew a small batch of beer, which we filled into American White Oak barrels at our warehouses in Scotland then locked away to begin a lengthy maturation. As day and night passed, a unique alchemy transformed the flavour of the beer inside, barrels slowly releasing their individual character from deep within the oak, imparting depths of flavour and mellowness.After 30 days, the beer was transferred to a marrying tun to infuse the flavours from each barrel. The beer was bottled in Sept 2004, a full year after the first batch of Oak Aged Beer.
