An homage to small, independent grain farmers and maltsters of the Northwest, the beer in your hand features barley grown at Juno View Farm in Washington’s Palouse region. Proceeds benefit the Cascadia Grains Conference, a partnership founded by WSU, OSU, and Fremont Brewing to revitalize the once-thriving, pre-Prohibition grains economy. The annual conference brings together farmers, bakers, brewers, maltsters, distillers, investors, and policy-makers to share research and grow demand for local grain cultivation. When it comes to flavor, hops may steal the show, but malt is beer’s subtle back-bone, revealing the unique terroir of the farm’s soil.Down & Dirty: LINC Lyon English Pale and LINC Lyon Light Munich malts with US Goldings hops.
