In the hiking world, a cairn is often a trail marker along the path, or an indicator of a summit; they guide trampers on the trails to the top of a mountain. Here at Tree House we believe it is not always about the destination, but the journey itself. This series showcases localized malts throughout the Northeast, and each iteration is single hopped with a different American hop. Cairn Series – Mount Marcy utilizes pilsner from Hudson Valley Malt, and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. Pouring a bright golden color, we find beautifully balanced notes of biscuit, cracker, honey, lemon citrus, and green tea. It is lightly bodied, smooth, and crisp with a light mineral presence. This beer is very delicate and highly drinkable.
