Scottish stock pale ale fermented with second use oranges in oak.When we emptied our Rioja casks of our beer, Christmas Day, we refilled them with a delicious little pale ale and allowed it to mature. The result is refreshment itself. A crisp, fragrant little pale ale with tutti frutti candied oranges on the nose, an airily light palate of doughy pale malt and a nice snap of tart citrus bitterness in the finish.
