Chocolate Coconut Pie

A pastry stout with additions of cocoa, coconut, vanilla and lactose designed to invoke the idea of eating a chocolate coconut pie. To make this beer we took a small amount of whiskey barrel aged imperial stout and blended it with a low abv milk stout in order to generate a rich complex profile while keeping the abv moderately low. We then added cocoa and toasted coconut in secondary.
