Shark Island Three Pence

We wanted to do something different, so we used Ethiopian green coffee beans instead of roasted beans and they were used throughout the whole brewing process. Three Pence Pale Ale is based on a British Strong Ale. The aroma is malt-sweet with fruity esters, an array of dried fruit, nuts and a hint of coffee. Reddish brown in colour. Medium malt character with caramel like flavours. Moderate mouthfeel with a "chewy" body and a welcoming alcohol warmth to round out this smooth drinking brew.
