Описание
Ernest Salmon, born in 1871, crossed a wild Manitoban hop with a cultivated english stock hop to create what we know today as Brewer’s Gold. Brewers Gold is the foundation of nearly every high alpha hop variety (i.e. almost all the sexy ones we use today). In his honor we have brewed our own interpretation of a West Coast IPA to put some of those high alpha hops to work.Dry hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo, Ernest Salmon presents notes of grapefruit and pine over a semi-dry body. Notes of citrus and resin that dance over the tongue and cascade into an appropriately bitter finish.Random Ernest Salmon fun fact: he made it to the Wimbledon men's single quarter final in 1903.
