Doppelbock means "Double Beer" in German and was originally brewed to get the monks through their religious fasting periods. This beer has more of everything - a rich, deep malty backbone of dark fruits & salted caramel combines with a peaty smokiness and the natural sweetness of honeycomb to create a complex but smooth & well balanced big, dark, boozy lager.
