Archangel is our second Russian Imperial Stout. At 9.5% ABV it may be a little lighter than Black 3 Zero but it's still silky smooth and chocolatey.It is distinct in that it is dry, as imperial stouts go. That makes it dangerously drinkable, even at well over 9% abv. But it definitely is not thin – the booze keeps it coating the mouth as you get layer after layer of malt complexity shining through. Don’t be put off by the bitterness and the American hops – they’re necessary, honest.
