Forager - Spruce Tip Brown Ale

A combination of Alberta malt, American hops, and English yeast; it’s difficult to categorize this unique blend of ingredients. We decided “brown” ale was the most fitting but nothing about this brew was traditional. We introduced a dash of spruce tips to the end of the boil to add some complexity without overpowering the beer. Expect a light body with some pine and earthy notes accompanied by some balancing dark stone fruit esters from the yeast.
