The beer scene in Toronto would not be what it is today without The Granite Brewery and Bar Volo - total legends, both. This beer is a celebration of that pioneering spirit that has spawned the industry we know and love today. Gelo was fermented with a traditional lager yeast at warmer temperature and dosed with a heavy amount of Cascade hops. The result is a super clean pale ale-like beer with notes of candied orange, vanilla and a mild floral spice. Cheers to Ron and Ralph!
