A hybrid style that survived the lager craze that swept Europe in the 1800’s. Brewed with Ale yeast and fermented colder to inhibit fruity esters from forming means this drinks as crisp and snappy as any lager style. A robust malt bill pushes this beer into the dark copper colour range which provides a lush body and flavour to suite. Tasting notes of bitter orange, burnt bread and crystallised sugar.
