A classic style of beer with Trappist origins in Belgium. This golden ale is lightly hopped with some fruity and honey aromas. Sichuan peppercorns, pear rock sugar and fresh ginger were added to the brew kettle during the wort boil. The Chinese influence on this beer is very refreshing and subtle as the Sichuan peppercorn provides an interesting undertone in the flavor and aroma.
