深いコクのあるカラメル/ブラウンモルトが、まるでプラムやプルーンのような味わいを生み出し、浅煎りのモルトやホップの苦みと複雑に絡み合っている。木樽で熟成したことにより、ウィスキー由来のバニラ、オークのマイルドなキャラクターが引き出され、よりスムースな飲み口に仕上がった。今のままでもフレッシュさすら感じるスムースな飲み口ですが、1〜2年ほど寝かせてもさらに熟成が効きそうな気もしています。We aged our English barleywine in whisky from a renowned independent Japanese distillery. Deep caramel and brown malt, along with plum and prune notes meld with lighter roast and hop bitterness. Wood aging smooth the beer with vanilla and oak character and mild tones of whisky.
