For our 400th Brew at our Royal Park brewery we had to do something special.We decided to amp up one of our local favourites KolSchisel.For this version of our Australian Pale Ale we pumped up the grist and maxed out our mash tun with as much malt as we could physically fit bringing the ABV up from 4.2% to a solid 8.2%.The whirlpool hop addition was cranked up and this version also sees a generous dry hop addition.Australian malt and Vic Secret hops shine in this Double Imperial Australian Pale Ale.Aroma- Big malty nose, with apricot, pineapple and slight grassy/earthiness.Flavour- Big warm booze carried by bready, light caramel and delicate fruit hop flavour with a medium to dry finish.
