In our annual quest to create a cider honoring the IDBF "festival bird", Ash & Elm brings you Alcyon, named for the scientific epithet of the Belted Kingfisher and whose etymology means "peace and calm". We could all use a little peace and calm these days, and we hope you'll find it in our vitalizing cider made with real Midwestern blueberries and locally foraged elderberry and sumac, tartish and semi-sweet and ~6.5% abv. Did you know that our kingfishers augment their piscivorous diet occasionally with fruits? So be like them and try some Alcyon.
