Infamously the style of beer enjoyed by Clark Griswald during his ill-fated German Slap-Off Dance, this renowned beer is usually brewed just before the hot European summer. Back in the days when lederhosen-clad brewers faced difficulties over the summer months, breweries were a hive of activity in March, producing strong, full-bodied lagers that would keep them in stock through to October. True to tradition but regardless of season, we’ve nurtured our Märzen through a long, slow fermentation, and perfected our German accents during the 6 weeks from brewing to drinking. Prost!
