A Blonde Ale fit for the sunshine. Italian barley meets French hops meets Norwegian yeast in a Scottish brewery! Especially chosen for their unique characteristics, this brew combines these eclectic ingredients to thirst quenching effect! Eraclea is a distinctive two-row barley variety grown on Italy’s Adriatic coast; possessing deep honey notes whilst remaining bright in character. We paired this unique malt with a light touch of Barbe Rouge hops from the Alsace region of France for a subtle infusion of their characteristic red berry aroma (think redcurrant, raspberry and strawberry). Finally, the Norwegian yeast imparts great juiciness and an aroma of orange-zest. Originally brewed for the Cambridge Beer Festival.
