The Texas Blackland Prairies are a temperate grassland ecoregion located in Texas that runs roughly 300 miles from the Red River in North Texas to San Antonio in the south. The prairie was named after its rich, dark soil.Our tribute to these native grasslands comes to you with an aroma of bread, chocolate and coffee, with a touch of molasses. Medium-bodied, rich and velvety on the palate, with bittersweet notes of malt and caramel in flavor that hints at the dark loam of the earth.
