Our black IPA stands out from its colour and the smooth, deep aromas, which are induced by the addition of roasted malt. At first sip, this BIPA resembles coffee, but during the aftertaste the bitter-fruity hop aromas hit your palate. This hybrid is a very mild version of a dark beer and an IPA and delivers the best of both beers to bring you a unique IPA experience. The molecule on the label is a chlorogenic acid lactone, a melanoidin, which is being formed during roasting of coffee beans or malted barley.
