American wheat beer is one of the newest styles of wheats, and is closer in style to the American pale ale than a German weissbier.This beer has limited fermentation character and is brightly hopped with Japanese and New Zealand hops, offering a taste of Southern sunshine. It is, unquestionably, an American style—not simply an Americanization of a Continental style.
