Deep reddish brown color, clear when held against light, and a dense tan foamAroma is very earthy with notes of dark dried fruits (fig, raisin, plum), molasses, medium roast espresso, dark chocolate, and a hint of alcoholFlavor carries through with initial umami notes followed by molasses, chocolate, roast, spicy/herbal hops, dry raisins, rich earthiness, a hint of citrus, and a gentle tingle from the high ABV. Extremely complex palette.The body of this beer is what sets it apart from many other examples of this style.
