We put the hops away, pulled out the Vienna malt, and made a brilliantly clear, copper colored, easy drinker. The malt backbone is strong with a blend of Vienna, Munich, 2-row, and a splash of specialty malts for color and extra flavor. Light hopping with Tettnang, Tradition, and Saaz. Familiarly fermented with Fader yeast. A 5.2% abv beer to bridge the gap between our lighter offerings and robust ones. Caramel, toast, and bready notes lead the way. Green apple fruity esters from the yeast. Hops are tough to find but there’s a slight spicy floral note in the finish. Fit to keep you toasty on a 7-feet-of-snow storm watch and the spring-teasing days too.
