The latest iteration of our NZ Hops Bract Brewers program is here and starring a very special, very rare experimental variety NZH109. Head Brewer Scotty was honored and humbled to learn that we were the only brewery in the Southern Hemisphere to have been given this hop to trial. An honour indeed.Layers of mango, passionfruit, papaya, peaches, and candied rockmelon strut to the front, swirl, and twirl then make way for the next wave of pineapple, blueberry jam, guava, and soft, lush, complex herbaceous, and floral tones that balance the fruit with a swagger all its own. A beautifully clean & soft but complimentary bitterness with a dusting of white pepper elevates the full but gravity-defying palate weight up and across your senses.
