Brandy Pear - Blakeney Red 2019

Brandy Pear is one of the truly great pear varieties but it is bot widey grown as it is challenging to press before it overripens. Our friend Rob delivered 141kg in 2019, which we added Blakeney Red to before natural fermentation in a neutral barrel. The result is a blended perry of vibrant, fruity character with notes of rich, runny honey, canteloupe melon and perhaps even caramalised mango!
