This is a smoked wild ale. Biere de Garde from 2020, aged on first fill oak bourbon barrels from Jim Beam. A portion of fresh and malty Proper Sigar (smoked beer) was blended in, taking this experimental beer in a new direction. The smokey and malty part of the blend balance the acidity and spicy notes from the barrels. The malt from the smoked beer is sourced from Bonsak malthouse and smoked on alderwood at Klostergården Såinnhus.
