Iron Horse

Описание

Henry Louis Gehrig—you might know him as Lou—played 17 seasons at first base for the New York Yankees. Known for his prowess as a hitter, Gehrig racked up 2,130 straight game appearances, a record that stood for 56 years and earned him the nickname “The Iron Horse.” Gehrig passed away in 1941 at age 37 from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a disease that has since come to bear his name. In remembrance of Gehrig and in partnership with Ales For ALS, we’re honored to release Iron Horse, a hoppy golden ale infused with a special blend of hops that includes Citra, Loral and four experimental varieties. Though light in body and color, the beer delivers a curve ball of hops, with bright flavors of honeydew, coconut, mowed grass and mandarin orange.
