Sometimes the most fun thing you can do in a brewery is to draw up a Frankenstein’s monster of a beer and just go full pelt at it. This was what we had in mind when the draft recipe was drawn up for Radio Edit; a beer that progressively ended up with more and more hop varietals in it as we kept reviewing. Featuring a mega bill of Amarillo, Azacca, Columbus, Citra and Mosaic, and with only 2.5kg of whirlpool hops added, the aim for this beer was pure and simple – hazy, opaque, juicy, and low bitterness. Featuring a mega tonne of passionfruit, mango, and papaya notes, balanced out with just the tiniest little bit of old school resin, this is pure and simple Polly’s doing what we do best.
