A new release in our "Quiet Space" series that highlights single barrel selections with little to no adjuncts allowing the base stout and the barrel character to take center stage. This particular release was a single barrel selected by the DC brew team to commemorate the 2nd Anniversary of the DC facility. It's a heavily oated stout base aged 14 months in bourbon barrels with no adjuncts. Smooth and full bodied with an aroma and initial flavors that read sweet with milk chocolate and caramel notes. As it sits on the palate, the barrel character comes through with some soft oak tannins and spirit notes.
