18 months ago, we teamed up up with our friends from Mox Nix Brewery to brew a farmhouse ale. Aged for those 18 months, this mixed fermentation ale is sweet and tart, with notes of lemon, apple and white wine - with a little funk. Ultra light and super refreshing. Ground Control was named for our love of Bowie *of course* and because it’s just that- the most pure; unadulterated, mixed culture perfection. The base, ground level. No fruit, no spices, no adjuncts of any kind. This 5% crusher is soft and bubbly from the bottle conditioning (and keg conditioning for tap!). It’s fresh and light and lovely. We get a lot of stone fruit, bright lemon, and white wine characteristics. It’s complex yet crushable, intricate yet unbelievably refreshing.
